Phoenix Springs encourages exploration and experimentation. It's okay to feel lost. It's okay to leave and come back the next day. It's also absolutely fine to read the solution below.

Final tips before the spoilers:

1) Mention every lead in every conversation.
2) Use the same object twice.
3) Lead + Iris to remember what the lead is about.

Remember your brother:

Find Leo's previous address:

• LEO DORMER + ADMIN BOX to find the address 17 TAIBAO STREET.

Make your way there:

• 17 TAIBAO STREET + TERMINAL


17 TAIBAO STREET


Question Leo’s old neighbour:

• USE the INTERCOM at number 19. 
• Mention LEO DORMER to learn about the UNIVERSITY. 
• Mention 17 TAIBAO STREET to learn about the SCAVENGED ITEMS.

Find the objects left at Leo’s old house:

• TALK TO the ORPHAN kids in the camp. 
• Mention the SCAVENGED OBJECTS to see his wares.

Guess the university name:

• Combine UNIVERSITY on the pens that say ULS on them.

Make your way to the university:

• USE INTERCOM at number 19.
• Mention ULS


UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES

Arrive at the UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES.

Find traces of your brother:

• Go towards the ADMIN ROOMS
• Read the red MEMO that mentions the DORMER STATUE PROJECT.
• Combine LEO DORMER + MEMO to get the clue.

Learn about the statue project:

• USE the small DOOR to open the ADMIN ROOM/
• Combine LEO DORMER with the POSTER on the wall to investigate the B.I.O.E.T acrostic and INSECT STATUE.

Find out what the acrostic stands for:

• Head towards the library.
• Find the A-B BOOKSHELF.
• Combine B.I.O.E.T + A-B BOOKSHELF

You learn that your brother wrote a book and was a professor of BIOETHICS ETHICS OF BIOLOGY.

Find the address linked to the department:

• Go to the projector room and USE the PROJECTOR twice (2x!)
• Combine BIOETHICS/ ETHICS OF BIOLOGY with the slide that shows the FORWARD ADDRESSES.


LEO’S


Enter 341 BELVEDERE HEIGHTS:

• USE the panel outside the gate. 
• LEO DORMER + panel to open it.
• USE the main house door to enter. 

Try to open the panic room / reset the security code

• USE the panel
• Try a handful of password options on the panel.

Reset the password 1/2: find Leo’s first published piece:

• Walk to the living room
• Use BIOETHICS on the TERMINAL
• Combine FIRST PUBLISHED PIECE with UNIVERSITY APPLICATION
• Combine UNIVERSITY APPLICATION with the panic room panel.

Reset the password 2/3: solve the riddle of the grasshopper lover:

• Walk to the living room
• Use GRASSHOPPER LOVER + INSECT STATUETTE.
• Use INSECT STATUE on the TERMINAL to learn its name: TITHONUS

Find out who the lover is:

• Use LEO DORMER on the living room BOOKSHELF to find his books.
• Use TITHONUS on IMMORTAL MORALS to learn the name EOS.

Enter the panic room:

• Enter EOS on the panel. 


TRAIN / DESERT

You are back where you started.

Exit the train:

• USE the DOOR

Gather leads:

• TALK TO the boy at the station.
• Mention LEO DORMER and he will mention who he's heard the name from the CRYING ONE. 
• Mention the CRYING ONE and he will mumble something about THE ONE-OH-ONE.

Locate the One-Oh-One:

• Head East in the desert after the ladder.
• Combine THE ONE-O-ONE with the rocks that look like 101 to head towards the oasis. 


PHOENIX SPRINGS


Find the crying one:

• Explore until you come across the village.
• Next to the kiln, you'll find a cabin with a CRYING LADY in it.
• TALK TO her about LEO DORMER.

She thinks she's heard the name, but you must help her remember other things first.

Help the crying girl remember her craft:

• TALK to the crying girl about her CRAFT
• She mentions trying to burn her instructions.

Find her burnt instructions:

• Leave the village on the left and continue past the broken bridge.
• Enter the cabin with the rotting fruit.
• BURNT INSTRUCTIONS + FIREPLACE
• You find a piece of paper with the word ERDNAKH written on it.

Translate the instructions 1/2:

• Head back towards the entrance to the oasis and turn left at the stump.
• Enter the cabin next to the drying paper.
• TALK TO the WRITER and mention ERDNAKH.
• She mentions it's a BAKED RECTANGLE.

Translate the instructions 2/2: find out what a baked rectangle is:

• Go back to the village
• Use BAKED RECTANGLE on the KILN to guess it could be BRICKS.
• Mention BRICKS to the crying girl. 
• She remembers her name is MASON

Help the crying girl remember what she looked like:

• Go to the statues.
• Combine MASON + HEADLESS BUILDER.
• Carry on towards the other statues, and turn right to reach the beach.
• TALK TO the man on the beach and mention the HEADLESS BUILDER.

Go find Mason to mention you found her SAND PORTRAIT.


LEO’S

Remember the night you found your brother:

• LEO DORMER + IRIS
• Walk through his house. 


TRAIN / DESERT


You are back where you started.

Exit the train:

• USE the DOOR

Find the way to Phoenix Springs:

• Head East into the desert
• Combine PHOENIX SPRINGS + 101 rock formation.


PHOENIX SPRINGS

Find the hidden part of the oasis:

• Head towards the burnt tree.
• USE the LIFT that could take you UNDERGROUND.
• Notice it's covered in flour.

Find out who used the lift:

• Head towards the village.
• Find Baker in his cabin.

Help Baker remember why he's been underground:

• TALK TO the BAKER
• Mention the UNDERGROUND
• He's been under, but won't remember why.

Jolt Baker's memory:

• Go to the high cabin/music room.
• TALK TO the musician.
• Mention BAKER MEMORY
• She plays you BAKER'S BALLAD.

Memorize Baker's ballad.

• Make sure to remember the ballad a few times
• BAKER BALLAD + IRIS DORMER (x2)
• If you forget it, head back to the music room and TALK TO the MUSICIAN about BAKER'S MEMORY once more.
• If you lose BAKER MEMORY, mention the UNDERGROUND once more.

Sing the ballad to Baker:

• Talk to BAKER.
• Mention BAKER BALLAD.

Follow Baker underground:

• Go to the burnt tree.
• TALK TO BAKER


UNDERGROUND


Learn why Baker was down there:

TALK to BAKER.
• You remember the name MASON.

Find MASON:

• Walk towards the screen.
• MASON + TERMINAL to bring Mason out.

Help MASON remember your brother:

• USE the HEADBAND
• Mention topics in the right order: MASON, PHOENIX SPRINGS
• Mason remembers a FLOOD, WORKSITE and ARCHITECT

Locate MASON's missing memory:

• ARCHITECT + TERMINAL to bring him out
• USE the HEADBAND
• Mention topics in the right order: WORKSITE, MASON
• You learn about an ACCIDENT.

Put MASON's story together:

MASON + TERMINAL to bring Mason out.
• USE the HEADBAND
• Mention topics in the right order: MASON, PHOENIX SPRINGS, ARCHITECT, ACCIDENT, REBIRTH, REPORTER, LEO DORMER.

Confirm what you already know:

USE the WATER to enter it.
