Calligram | ˈkalɪɡram | (noun): a poem, phrase, or word arranged to create a visual image.
Founded by French/Tibetan game designer Jigmé Özer, Calligram Studio is an art collective dedicated to exploring the boundaries of narrative games.
In collaboration with Eleanor Summers, artist and illustrator, and Alexander Smith, composer, sound artist and synth designer, the studio released the critically acclaimed game Phoenix Springs in October 2024. It features the voice talent of Alex Anderson Crow as Iris Dormer.
Most of the team is based in West Yorkshire, between Leeds and Manchester. A new game is currently in the works.
