Calligram | ˈkalɪɡram | (noun): a poem, phrase, or word arranged to create a visual image.
Calligram Studio is an art collective designed to explore the boundaries of narrative games.
Founded by French/Tibetan game designer Jigmé Özer in collaboration with Eleanor Summers, artist and illustrator, and Alexander Smith, composer and synth designer, the studio released the critically acclaimed Phoenix Springs in October 2024. It features the voice talent of Alex Anderson Crow as Iris Dormer. Most of the team is based in the UK.
Calligram Studio has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times, Vulture and The Verge, and in international outlets such as 🇩🇪Tagesspiegel, 🇪🇸 La Razòn, 🇯🇵 Famitsu, 🇮🇹 La Gazzetta Di Parma, 🇨🇿 Ceska Televize, and 🇬🇷 Kathimerini, among others.
